“Regulators like the General Chiropractic Council have different and inconsistent methods of engaging with patients”

The article below appears in the Health Service Journal. I am not against regulation, I am against bad regulation. I am not making excuses for...

Business as usual; declares General Chiropractic Council chairman Peter Dixon as he rearranges the deckchairs.

The chairman would most definitely not be saying “we will investigate every complaint” Many complaints have been made about GCC management and to my knowledge nobody...

The GCC has decided they have more to fear from the chiropractic sceptics than registered chiropractors. Yesterday The GCC chief executive Margaret Coats saw her salvation in hurrying up the section 60 amendment which would have allowed the Investigating Committee to weed out vexations cases against chiropractors. The furious response of the sceptics to...

Cant hear you, see you, and wont speak to you and I dont care how you voted.

How Peter Dixon soinned my removal to the profession

I made the front page of the latest GCC Newsletter, it’s a great example of how the “Shadows” spin council information and minutes for the profession’s consumption. Hopefully this will get people signing up to the conference. BCA president Tony Medcalfe has refused an invitation to speak about his vision of statutory self regulation,...

The statement I made to council at my hearing was 17 pages long and took about an hour to get through. Peter Dixon had threatened to restrict me to speaking about the "charges" against me at the start. I told him if there were any interruptions I would walk out and say I was...
